    I believe you need to fit an extension to the buddy bottle when going the other way so I guess the bottle will sit quite proud of the stock. This mean you've got a Mk2 stock going begging ? Yep, stock will "poke out" a tad...

    Just done it tonight works fine, two slight probs:

    1) Trigger guard will not fit (fouls trigger blade), so need to either knock up a new one, or install spacers.

    2) Trigger reach is slightly longer, as the Mk2 has a more verticle grip

    I fitted a rapid mk 2 action to a theoben mk1 field target stock but had to cut a recess for the saftey, and as the trigger was too long, cut a channel in the wooden trigger guard( about 4mm deep 8 mm long)which proved tricky. Also, the mk2 action has a round 15mm screw\washer sticking out 50-60mm behind the buddy bottle which has to be allowed for in a mk1 stock

    Cheers neil, exactly the three things I found <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    The safelty cut out and recess for the 15/16mm button were easy, on mind I need a new trigger guard though...

    Did you notice the slightly longer trigger reach ?

    can`t say i noticed, mind you i changed from a standard stock to the field target stock. It feels great though so it must be about right.

    Wierd. My Mk11 (anschutz trigger) went into a MK1 FT stock with about 2mm filed off the bottom of the trigger blade.

    With the std MK1 stock (and hence metal trigger guard), you'd need to shave about 5mm off the trigger - better to get a propper guard I reckon.

    Also, I guess your FT "pistol grips" are more vertical then the std. sporter stock - hence the trigger reach difference - bit it's no big deal <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
