    AA SR break barrel

    Spoke to AA's Bill Sanders today regarding the new break barrel semi-recoiless springer, he says it will be quite a bit smaller and lighter (6.5lbs approx) than the Pro-Elite, which is good news, but unfortunately it may be a long while before we see it in the shops as they are so busy with supplying the current guns.

    Good news about the weight, bad news about the wait <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    They cant make the 400/410's fast enough. Even Rothery's (the main distributer) keeps running dry. As soon as thier made, their gone.
    I got my 410 right at the end of april. manufactured date on the box is april 23rd.
    No dust on their boxes...

    Thanks, Dave. Did he mention anything about FAC capability?

    Sorry Rustam, I forgot to ask about FAC power, although if the gun does turn out to weigh only 6.5lbs it sounds as though it may be legal limit only due to the size of cylinder etc. To get it down to 6.5lbs it seems as though everything will be as small and light as possible.

    One more thing he said is that the stock will be very similar in looks to the 400/410 stock.

    Very true. This is what I had heard on the grapevine as well (about it being smaller than the original SR) but then I have seen Baz posting about a new FAC springer form AA and thought he was refering to the new SR prototype. Baz, could you clarify this?

    All I can is WOW!

    Would love to have a light medium energy FAC semi-recoilless springer with a stock as mentioned.

    This one may really turn out to be a beaut. I just hope we can see it one year from now.

    LADIES LIGHTWEIGHT FROM AA

    They'll only be on sale to girls though. And don't think you can get one by taping up your bits and putting a bit of slap on - DNA analysis will be done at point of sale.
