I always use the Crossman powelets as these lubricate the seal. Never done any maintenance on my CP99.
Could someone give me some advice in what to look out for in maintaining my pistols. I have a CP99 and a Brockock F1. From what I can make out the major issue seems to be the seal between cannister and gun.
What is an appropriate product to use to keep this seal efficient and what else should I look to be doing??
Thanks.

I shoot Co2 & Brocock tac pistols in Competitions
Start of each shoot a a drop of silicon oil on top of the first CO2 bottle, which keeps it moist and blows throught the guns system.
And to save the seal, do not bleed via releasing the lock bar as the cold blast dry's out the seals.
When low on CO2 fire the Gun safely down range and push home the hammer this will bleed the remaining co2 through the system and save the contact seal.
Also do not leave CO2 bottles in the guns as this also compresses the seals and again can lead to them cracking and needing replacement.
I run a Co2 & Brocock Range @ Lea Valley on Saturdays.
Where I have box of guns in general use, not had one seal go in them and get through boxes of CO2 most weeks.
I use Umarex / Walther CO2 bulbs.
