    I had a Logun fitted to my Viper last week <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
    It's really quite now,well worth £43.
    I take it you've got the silencer adaptor from venom?
    Take a look at this tread Snake Charmer - VIPERon more silencers and the viper

    You read a fair number of quotes about silencers

    There effectiveness depends on not only the gun but the pellets used.

    We have done down range tests @ Lea Valley , where people stand behind metal containers and shots are fired at targets past the container.
    Not at the Container.

    Often one can not hear the rifle crack, but the pellet coming towards the target.

    Especially with skirted Rounds which can whistle as they approach.

    My Air Arms 400 in .22, has standard AA and is quite.

    My Rapid 17 is quite leaving the gun , but the action is noisy ,thunk.
    Many have tried and checked it but shoots great.

    My FX2000 .22 has a Parker Hale and that is quite.

    But like gun/s you can spend a furtune on a Silencer , but not a lot of good if the Rifle is not getting the Round down range fast enough, to hit the target before it is aware <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
