whats the difference between ones used in pcp's and ones for springer/gasrams.
Reason , is i ,ve tried some pcp ones in my hw80 and they were brill at 30 yards (to my suprise)and i was only using them to give the barrel a quick clean wilst up at the range.
so is there a difference and can pcp types damage springers .
Darren .

BTW try them at a longer range before you make the switch <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
Jons' roght mate, try them at 40 or 50 yds before you change.
Some barrels seem to hate them. My old S300 loved 'em, accurate right out to 50yds. My Rapid and Career on the other hand, hate them. With these guns you can see them 'corkscrew' in the air!!!!
Exterminators (the lead version) on the otherhand are excellent!
Don
Funny thing about these Pellets, I've heard of Corkscrewing or turning side on in flight and many other such WEIRD happenings. Either the reporters have Superman's sight or I is going BLIND! 'Cos I hardly EVER see a pellet in flight, even lead. Mine probably move to fast, or have a cloaking devise? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
I've tried them in ALL 19 of my rifles, 3 ARE Careers, 2 FT's in .177 and 1 is .22. Can't load them into the Career's magazine BUT single shot only. I've tried TAC2's - XP2's - PCP2's and all the .177 types, Both on the range out to 60 yards and in the field and they've performed as GOOD as I can. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
I also found that when used in the Super10 and Rapid MkI & MkII they were HARD to seat into the breech. Him who makes them did say that they had found this out and the solution is SIMPLE. Have Theoben or BSA ream the breach deeper to take the longer pellet. Did it and it WORKED. NO WONDERING SHOTS. All straight and FLATTER than lead. Only used them ONCE, with the 707 .22 (TM2's) hunting, the WHACK of the impact on the poor old bunnies head was VERY, VERY loud, in comparison with lead and the DAMAGE! PHEW! that's something else. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
John.
PS. First tried Dynamics in the SN1's and SN2's version's with two Webley Springers. After a sighting session, they prooved MORE accurate and MORE consistent than lead ammo. JDB.
PPS. Still buying lead BUT only 'COS its cheaper!
Tried these tinnies in my .20 HW90K.
Great fit in the breach and seem very accurate when pushed with full power.. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
If you can't see your pellet at 12ft/lbs you are either blind or not following through. I watch my pellet miss the target every time so I know I'm a good shot.
with practise you can see other peoples pellets with the naked eye so long as you are behind them <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

I just can't believe Bob/R hasn't popped up on this thread .... he must be slavering at the leash by now! He's either finally been gagged or emigrated!
Emigrated! Now there's a thought:
BOB: "Hello old chap! How's about a few tinnies then? Guaranteed to make your PCP more accurate!!"
BRUCE: "Wotcher Bob. How's yer bits mate? Don't mind if I do, I'll have a Fosters"
BOB: "No, not that sort you silly old drongo! You shoot MY tinnies out've your .22" weapon"
BRUCE "Buy me a few more Foster's sport, an' I'll show yer how it's done down here ... I can pee pretty accurately with my 6" springer thanks all the same!" <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
