    Curse these bullpups!

Apart from being stupid, ugly and Walt-magnets, they are also compact, well balanced and (in many cases) cheap!

I'm on the hunt for a cheap PCP for field use, and scouting around the usual sites has turned up the SMK p10 and 15 and the Kral Breaker puncher mk2. I know the mk1 was flawed, but it is alleged the mk2 has had the issues addressed. Add this to the fact you can get one in a walnut stock for £400 and I'm strugglng for reasons not to buy one!

What have I missed! What else should I be looking at?

For the money the p15 with a tweak takes some beating , the kral is good to but heavy and longer
For a few more beer tokens the zbroia kozak great straight out the box and better build quality

16" LOP? I'm not an ape!

If I were an ape with a mild to medium visual impairment I would consider it though. Very good value.

It doesn't have to be a Bullpup, just a compact PCP with a decent shot count.

I had the Kral MK1 for a fair while never had any issue with it at all. I only got rid of it as I was offered a swopmfor a HW100.

    Get a secondhand BSA Ultra.

They made it short in the first place so you don't need to cow-kitten it.

Accurate and it has a nice trigger, and you could probably shoot it one-handed if you got attacked from behind by a giant rat out of the rat version of The Matrix, doing a sort of diving spinning move that would keep you alive just long enough to put a Hobby through its bonce. If you need more shots then just carry a small bottle with you, its just for critters not for HFT innit?

I have an Original Diana 50 that someone has converted to sliding breech loading. It's got an excessive chamfer on the barrel throat, and its doing 2.5 fpe. If the sear/cocking lever lets go while you are loading it you will DEFINITELY loose your fingertips. Its dead exciting. Fancy that?

Are you sure you don't want to "convert" a nice, little AA 410, Nick?

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
