Can you have a Rapid MFR barrel fitted to a Rapid Mk1?

I'm talking about the shouded 'bull' barrel

Would theoben do this or could you get another airgun smith to do it?

It can be fitted quite easily, you would need 280cc bottle though

Is it worth it and what sorta price do they charge for it?

Is the alignment of the barrel just as accurate as a regular barrel?

It was very quiet compared to a Logun silenced Rapid.

Why didnt Theoben finish the end of the shroud(the part nearest the alloy block)as on the HW98,and also close up the unsightly gap between the two parts,as IMO it looks unfinished.

I've a B&M full length shroud fitted to a 12mm ISP barrel (piccy this weekend - needed for insureance anyway!) - accuracy is amazing, it's quiet, and the weight saving (main reason for doing it) completely transforms the handling of the normally nose heavy Rapid (balances more like a 410k now).

I've a B&M Adapter Ring for the 400cc bottle.
The finish is superb.
Nice black anodising and a brass stud.
