I went into a gunshop the other day and was asking about 12g shotgun, he mentioned that there was a load of info about chokes, shot size etc in the Eley diary
I emailed Eley but they have not come back to me yet
Where can you get one of these?

Depends what sort of shooting you intend doing: Driven game, walked up, 'fowling, Grouse, high Pheasants, Clays etc. Recent articles in Shooting Gazette on shotgun choice, would help?
I used to get buy with an AYA 25 ss improved/modified 3 in Magnum proofed and varied the shells. I shot everything from driven partridge with subsonics to 200 foot high Graylags with AAA Gevelot Supervix. Kicked like a mule with heavy loads though.
I thought Eley diaries were pretty much standard items in gunshops? they seem to be on every shop counter around my way
Thanks both, Got one FOC from Eley this AM 2003 not 2004.
Rough shooting for birds on the wing really.
Pigeons, corvids, magpies maybe pheasants.
