Big Thanks to John Bowkett & BSA

As most of you know I done well in last years HFT shoots.

I thought I would contact the company whose gun I used throughout

the season to see if I could get some sort of sponsorship for the 2004 HFT series.

As I already own the gun, I was looking for maybe a Cap, T-shirt or maybe pellets,

Just to show everyone what type of gun I was using.

I approached the said company at the midland game fair this year and they didn't seem interested at all, so I thought I would put it in writing and send them a letter asking would they sponsor me for next years HFT season, well still to this day I have not heard anything from them, not even a no …nothing.

After having a play with a BSA Hornet, I realised this gun is perfect for HFT. I contacted BSA via email asking for sponsorship for next year and with in 24 hours John Bowkett rang me for a chat.

After chatting to John on the phone, I am now being sponsored by BSA for 2004 HFT series and hopefully beyond that.

John is going to send me a BSA Hornet to use.

So I would like to say a big thanks to John Bowkett and BSA for there help, its nice to see a company willing to give something back to the shooters and not just take take take like the company I approached first.

I can assure you the company who could not be bothered will not be getting any more of my cash in the future.

    Spill the beans

So which company wouldn't sponser you then GAZO??? I am sure we are all dying to know. BSA and Mr Bowkett are very quickly getting an excellent reputation of late with both excellent value for money hardware and great back up service.

I would have said but I am not too sure if the post would have been deleted if I named the company, so thought it best not too.

BSA must have been laughing their hats off at this year's HFT.

All those events sponsored by various manufacturers/suppliers.....

But it may just promote them into further involvement now, colin.......nothing like healthy competion amongst manufactures in what will be, surely the fastest growing discipline in shooting next year.

Well done Gazo and well done BSA and John Bowkett.

But the biggest well done of all, goes to all who set up HFT and run it..I take my hat off to all of you.
