Spark was going to ask them Bryden, I'm not sure if he has yet though.

I'll ask him as soon as I see him on MSN.

Btw could you please email Gary your home address and he says that he does not have it.

    For Meg's cards of course <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Have I missed something here?

I've seen the date on the meets page but are there anymore details....

Is it an air rifle shoot?

    What type?

    Format etc?

Why do I already know I'm going to get the pi%% ripped out of me for asking these questions?

Bozz it's a fun/social day. Us against them (Mendip shooters that is).

We're meeting up for a fun HFT, then drinks at a local pub.

Are you two coming? Voldy will give you details if you email him.

It'd be nice if we could Sammie.

End of November is pretty flat usually on the Bozzer's calender.

All depends on the usual.....kidsitting and dogsitting availability (and presentation evenings).

Be nice to take the old Trout away for the weekend and do a bit of shooting in the bargain.

I've just posted this same garbage on the 'meets' page.

Just thinking if you are hoping to attract a mix of HFTers and FTers....

We had a thread a while back that talked about incorporating FT and HFT on the same course.

It just means using a few more targets. Most clubs (FT) use 2 targets per lane.

The FT guys need a few long'uns (55 yarders) to keep them interested whilst the HFT shooters need closer targets (45 yard max) but are shooting with lower mag and kneeling/standing/prone.

So ....... for a few of the lanes.....

1 target at 20 yards (perhaps obscured so it has to be taken standing), 1 target at 35 yards and 1 target at 55 yards.

The HFT folk shoot the 20 yard hidden stander and the 35 yarder. The FT folk shoot the 35 and 55 yarders. Each shooting within their own discipline.

You only need a few lanes like this, as say a lane that has a 25 and a 45 yard target can be shot by both ( just different techniques).

Just a thought if you are trying to attract a mix of shooters.

You can still have teams that have shot FT competing against each other and similarly the HFT teams.

Might be worth giving this a go..You might even start a trend and bridge the gap between FT and HFT.

Thanks for all your input on this one chaps. Please see the other post on club meets stuff.
I am looking forward to a good fun day out, pulling a 98% score, having Miss Baywatch 2003 present the scotch to me...and then I woke up. See you all there.
