    WOW.

I'm new to these boards. And I have to say that those pictures have got me all emotional and brought a bit of a tear to my eye.

Not that I will openly admit it in public being as I am a big 6 ft 3 meathead of a bloke.

Thats absolutley brilliant work and in the future I would like to do what I can to bring smiles like that to someones face.

    Your secret's safe with us

I was there (there's just a hint of one of my ears in one of the pics) and it was all I could do to keep a stiff upper lip. I'd had the privilege of chatting to Saul before the presentation - and we'd been talking about the Ginb stock on my own rifle. He told me that he'd like one like that one day When he got one of his own... well, you can imagine

He did it proud too by putting in the top Junior score of the day - with a 53 that shamed many of the "grown-up" scores. That's what this thing is all about. ChrisC and Dave Kingplinker deserve a hearty round of applause from us all for coming up with the scheme in the first place. Let's do all we can, when and where we can, to keep it going.

    Paul.

Cheers Paul....you weren't the only one, i had something in my eye also

I know that Paul wouldn't want this ...but tough .....after seeing Sauls response(and the fact that his new rifle shot like a dream)...he donated his HW97K to the fund. All the lads in the NEFTA area will know just how much work has gone into both the action and the stock of that rifle.

Anyone interested...then please have a look in the sales section....but beware, although it is "girly" cal , its a real mans gun ...16lbs, but superbly balanced, not for dragging round hunting, but for HFT/FT

Good job you weren't there! there were several surreptitious wipes of the eyes going on.

Good piccies Chris, good to see I spoiled only one of them and even then you'd be hard pressed to tell.
Congratulations to all that donated and the organisers of the fund.

They would probably do a write up of us "evil gun owners" corrupting youth minds by giving them free "weapons"

Excellent result though, the pics are always a good idea, the joy you can see in his face and all the other kids who have benefited from this is well worth seeing.
    Oh waily waily waily!
