    HW90K and Theoben?

My HW90K has Theoben stamped into the stock, can somebody give me details on this?

    Thanks John

It has Theoben stamped on it as the gas ram inside your gun is a Theoben unit. All the ones I have seen though have been stamped on the metalwork and not the stock however.

    Exclamation

The rifle is a collaboration between Theoben and Weihrauch. Note that the HW90 does NOT have the Rekord trigger as fitted to every other Weihrauch for the last 30 years.

Not so, they have to have Theoben stamped on them because they are made under license to Theoben. Its all made in Germany but was largely a Theoben design

Mine has Theoben stamped on it. I assumed that it was some sort of licensing thing. And, of course, it has Hull Cartridge stamped on it too.

I always wondered what the difference between the TB and the Euro Custom was. Whether it was just the stock. I think the Euro custom was the best looking Theoben I ever saw...

You can't keep a good design down.
I'm not sure whether the TB had a shortened barrel or the std one. I'm sure Ben Knows

Very nice!!! How old is it?

I think the Euro Custom was more expensive than the TB, but they both had a nice stock.... I also think that the Euro Custom was actually built by Theoben not HW....

    Could be wrong

Circa '91 iirc preproduction action. That's a long story

Had a 177 tb when they first came out, wonderful rifle, foolishly sold it. I remember speaking to theoben at the time and seem to recall that they said the actions were different to the standard '90.
    Cost £250 in 1992
