I just cannot believe this, Dave Baines is a name I associate with true legends. It is my pleasure to have known him. Dave you will be sorely missed.

What a total shock this is. I was only talking to Dave on Sunday at the Anston shoot and he seemed like his old self. He went out of his way to bring me some painkillers from his car when I mentioned I had a headache - just like Dave to do such a thing.
RIP Dave - you will be missed by those who knew you and your experience will be missed by those who haven't taken shooting up yet but will in the years to come. A sad day for airgun shooting - whatever discipline you follow.
Dave.
