I am stunned by this news, Dave Baines was the only man who set a target on peg 13 that I couldn't knock over, I had never missed target 13 before. He was always a gent to me and everone I saw him with, I am deeply saddened and wish to pass my condolences to his family.

This is the worst news I've heard this year. A man who has given so many fond memories, from his course building oddities to standing in the lake at the MGF a few years ago, demonstrating a MK3 underwater.

    Sometimes life doesn't seem fair..
