Sad loss of a Gentleman.
Sad loss of a Gentleman.
"Shooters, regardless of their preferred quarry, enjoy their sport for its ability to transfer them from their day-to-day life into a world where they can lose themselves for a few hours". B Potts.
Only met the chap twice on this years GP rounds, but he quite obviously was a great chap and did loads for all us FT shooters, plus many other I am sure. A good bloke that will be missed, my feelings go out to his Family especially at this time of year, such a loss.

I met and talked to Dave on quite a few occasions and he also put himself out for me when I needed some new ratchet straps for East Devon FTC late last year, Sadly I never got the chance to shoot with Dave. My condolences to pauline and family from all at East Devon FTC and SWEFTA. RIP Dave ,a true gent and a giant of the airgunning world.

I can't believe I'm reading this. Dave is/was a true giant amongst men in airgun shooting. A great ambassador for airgunnning, I find it hard to think of him not being there
Dave you'll be missed

I can only add to what has already been written - deeply saddened by this news, its really knocked me for six; rest assured, when I see a target placed almost 40 foot in the air, I will be thinking of you Dave.
A great man, a great sportsman and a great friend.
