    Pressure

    I've just pumped up my 12 litre 232 bar divers bottle with my R.W.S. pump. All I can say is, gasp, gasp, if you've got a dicky ticker don't try it, I'm knackered. Where are you Bozzerman, I need your advice as to where I can get it filled in your area. I don't want arms like Arnie. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" width="15" height="22"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" width="15" height="22"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    You actually managed to get the required pressure from a hand pump?! Blimey mate, well done! How long'd it take you? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

It's only just over 200 bar. I don't think I'll be doing it again before next week. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Jeezuz Grendel!

    That sort of pump is meant for the silly little cylinders that form part of our rifles not a twelve litre cylinder ferchrissakes <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    No way I'm picking a fight with you... you must already have arms like Arnies <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_razz.gif" alt="Razz" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Are you from Yorkshire originally by any chance? Thats a hell of a lot of effort to save £2.50 down the local dive shop! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    The nice young lady at Henry Kranks told me that she has a customer in the shop who assures her that it can be done, I've not seen this bloke but I should think he has to turn side ways to get in Kranks front door. So I thought, "If he can do it,I can do it". YesI know, I'm a bit simple. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    I am always pumping my 11 ltr bottle up with my handpump,to 300 bar,I can not carry it on my moped to the diving shop(15 miles away )I tried taking it on the bus the driver (a miserable s*d) chucked me off,I think it was because I rested it on a little old lady who was sitting inside the door(I thought she was brown bread but she was only asleep)cor blimey did she moan ,so I ended back in the street,think I will go back to my little chinese springer,got into trouble when I tried to take that on the bus ,but they have let me out now,Ron.

    Nada has a wicked sense of humour - just wait 'til she hears someone's actually done it <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Now that is one of the most insane things I've ever heard! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    I used to use a pump for my S300, but due to the fact that I felt like the old ticker was going to pack up every time I did it, I opted for a divers bottle.

    Oh, and I often take my 12ltr, 300bar bottle in a BIG rucksack the 20 miles to have it filled. Not on a moped, but a FireBlade! Not for the faint hearted!!!!!

    Has your Fireblade got as much BHP(do they still use brake horse power )as my moped? inside 10 mins I can get up to 15 miles an hour,which takes my breath away,with a bottle on me back I don't think I would leave the kerbside unless I used the peddles,Ron.

    To answer your questions mate:

    Has your Fireblade got as much BHP(do they still use brake horse power )as my moped? Yes, but only just <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Inside 10 mins I can get up to 15 miles an hour. Inside 10 seconds I can get up to 160 miles an hour. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    I used to frequently carry a 21" TV on a Puch Maxi, my mate was too tight at the time to buy his own TV!

    The only problem with carrying your divers bottle on your back is falling off. You'll end up doing a Rocketman, like the bloke at those Olympic Games, but with less grace and control! <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
