Advice please

So at last I have the money for my first pre-charge and I'll probably go for a S410 walnut t/h but I have been offered a Daystate Huntsman for less money.

What do you guys think?????

huntsman

Hi gaz you dont say what model the huntsman is mk1 or mk11 if its the mk11 with the ftr trigger unit they are one of the best and most reliable pcp there is they are totally fool proof but be carefull if buying a second hand one a lot of them have been played around with.
the s410 is also one of the best pcp its very close in terms of performance it really is down to you ones a multishot ones a singleshot i myself wouid be hard pressed to chose between the two

Definatley the S410 would be my first choise ive not had any probs with mine yet if yer tempted by a cheaper rifle go for the beech stock S410

Not only single / multi but the weight issue.
410 is a much lighter gun IIRC.

Why not go for the S410 beech, then get a better scope.

If you can't afford walnut - save a bit longer.

Opinions differ but I love my guns and aesthetics are a part of it.

Thanks guys, money isn't issue and I've already got the scope I want. I like the look of the Huntsman and love shooting the S410 I suppose I'll have to try the huntsman down the range.

Helpful as always
cheers

S410 is a lovely gun that's I find fits like a glove.
Used to have a Harrier but that handled like a plank in comparison.
410's speed of reloading whilst prone or sitting quick and reliable when after rabbits.

My preference was (and still is) for the AA S410. Partly because the rifle is dead reliable, accurate and consistent, and partly because the customer service I have recieved so far from Air Arms is superb!

My 410 is currently with them being repaired under warranty for a rattle in the air cylinder... The rifle went out of warranty 6 months ago but they're very accomodating when it comes to faults.

Great company and rifles all round (got an S410 & a Pro Sport and am trying to get hold of a second hand S200 as well).
