    Best bet, check with your local gun shop where they get there bottles filled, as there are many other sources of compressed air, for example the ones closest to me are a company who test fire alarms and extinguishers, but they also fill up the local fire brigades breathing gear. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    There is a dive shop in Newcastle, it's on a side rod of Barrack road.

    There used to be one in Stone but alternatively you can go to Daystate which is about 18 miles each way from me in Werrington.

    Have you tried your nearest fire station ?
    Most of them have their own compressors to fill their BA's (breathing apparatus), and might be willing to fill your bottle for you.

    Just offer to put a few quid in the collection box, or a fiver even, they do, do a good job.

    But they also collect for charities, and do a fair bit of fund raising for the NSPCC, Cancer research etc. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->(well, they do down here anyway)
