    VX II or Bushnell Trophy

Am in the market to upgrade the scope on my 17hmr. Have had a tasco varmint and a sweet 17 on top of it, both of which performed well but would like something with better optical clarity. Have narrowed it down in my head to:-

    Leupold VX II 4-12x40 a/o (£235) or
    Bushnell trophy 4-12x40 a/o (£150)

Both prices delivered. Am not really a fan of massive magnification and really like the idea of the VX II but is it worth the extra money?

Have searched plenty here but been unable to find a direct comparison .

If you were going for a Bushnell mate, take a look at the elite 3200 4-14x40 contact bones on this site. Just as good as my VXIII for lamping.
Always with the negative waves Moriarty, always with the negative waves.
