NS156 Help

I got my new scope about 10 mins ago from the post office, but I can see a way to mount it onto my gun :S

Now I am not being ridiculously stupid (I dont think) I have a weaver rail on the gun, but the bottom of the scope is an upside down dovetail. The dovetail is metal and looks like the base of a scope mount. However the mount seems to be missing. The dovetail has 4 round insets into it and a threaded hole.

Right, I have the mount that came with the sight but it seems to be for a bigger size dovetail than the airgun 11mm. It is as big as a weaver adaptor but doesnt seem to fit a weaver. How did you make the 11mm dovetail one?

I think you've got the right bit, but maybe it just doesn't look right?

The underneath of the scope has an 11mm dovetail (rail) as is on your rifle. The sight holder fixes to this and protrudes forward. Your manual shows this image.

On the rifle, you need a Dovetail (11mm) to Weaver rail adapter. Do a search on 'B Square' (who make these) to see what it should look like.

Once you've got both bits, you just mate them together.

You can see the adapter that goes on the rifle. It's the lowest part shown and has knurled adjusters that clamp the adapter to the rifle (once on the dovetail of course).
