Took my daughter for operation on her nose this morning while talking to a nurse about things happening at the hospital she told me about a 16 year old last week shot his self UP the nose with co2 air pistol and thought it quite funny what he had done even after they told him he could have lost his eye [ couldnt be his brain obvious he aint got one]

A few years back a British soldier shot himself in the head with a Browning 9mm in a similar way. The guys had got the bad habit of firing pencils out of the Brownings barrels by force of the striker, the pencil making a merry arc through the air across the barracks. Somehow in this horseplay he managed to chamber a round, and jokingly put the gun to his head. His last words were 'I didn't mean to do that'.

Lack of respect for weapons ends up in loss of life or limb, and someone should drill it into the mentally challenged that they are not for playing with.
