    Can't Cook Won't Cook - Right here's the plan!

    On Can't cook won't cook today they featured a shot rabbit! Never normally watch this cr@p but when I saw one of the guests bring a rabbit to be cooked, shot by him, then I had to watch.

    Ainsley went on to soothe viewer's feelings about rabbit, saying it's underrated etc. One of the cooks mentioned how, when he shot a rabbit on TV once, BBC Scotland got loads of complaints.

    And the Plan? Well, we complain often enough about the antis and their complaints. I say we log on to BBC website now and email BBC - or the show direct, whatever - and congratulate them on a superb piece of programming, benefits of natural eating etc,.

    In fact, everytime something about shooting any game comes on, we should get into the habit of writing/emailing to congratulate and ask for more. Beat the antis at their own game. Once the public gets used to this and gets used to shooters shooting legitimately then it will be more difficult to get us banned.

    It's not really that the public are anti. It's just that the majority of them really don't know what are the legitimate uses for air rifles, or where even meat actually comes from. Some don't even know where milk comes from! They need enlightening.

    We could of course just sit around, paranoid, sniping at each other for fear of the antis or just enjoying a moan.

    Or we could fight back in a positive manner. This is politics. In politics, if you're not attacking then you're losing.

    Well, that's my piece said. I'm off to BBC website now to email and get a good recipe for rabbit. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Well I've E-mailed them to say thanx for showing it.
    Even dropped in that I seem to remember that the railway companies were worried a few years ago that rabbits were undermining the track beds where track are built above the sourounding land.
    Also added the potential damage they can do to horses should they get a leg down a rabbit hole while running about in a field.

    Come on you hunters - spend a few minutes to tell them how pleased you are.

    Ogri the trog

    A quick apology here. It's not Can't Cook Won't cook, it's Ready Steady Cook (weeelll, it's all the same <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->)

    Sent email to program itself and to BBC food in general (large number of contact points for BBC) just to make sure.

    Come on guys (and girls). Anyone else?

    I cant do it. The negatives of Ainsley far outweighes the positives of the odd game recipe.
    I have emailed them about 5 times previously with regard to his...

    1. never ending waffle
    2. constant meddling in the other chefs food
    when he is meant to be a presenter only.
    3. His only one liner, which is WHATS HE LIKE, said to everyone who makes a better joke than him, which is everyone.

    ps, make sure you don't get your READY STEADY COOK mixed up with your CAN'T COOK WON'T COOK.
    Its easy to do mind......

    Go on Cory, you can do it. Think of the future for UK hunters.

    Have you really emailed five times before? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    The BBC hasn't inflicted this program on Canada has it? Is nowhere sacred? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Scary thought this, can't remember which comedian said it:

    "If laughter is the best medicine, Ainsley Hariott is going to live forever!"
