    Harrierx v S410

    Guide me, o wise ones. The Daystate looks a million dollars and costs it too. Which one should I buy?

    They will both outshoot you.
    Buy the one you can afford and suits you best.
    Simple enough innit ?

    As Per Gary C's post, but see if you could pop into a club, if you dont already (and some shops) and shoot both of them and compare the two. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    Now, i might be just a little bit biased here but i would go for...need i even tell you? <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" width="15" height="22"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    as i have owned both a daystate and currently own an s410k .177,i'd have to go for the air arms.

    as for resale i'd have to say the aa will sell far quicker

    Both good guns when working OK although I feel Daystate has the edge on quality HarrierX with Walnut ambi stock weighs 6lbs un-scoped. Plus the bonus of either single or multi shot.
    Daystate customer service is second to none, friendly, fast, effective and collected (arranged by them) FOC while in warranty.
    The other company can’t even be bothered to answer emails and will repair under warranty but you have to get it to them at your cost.
    IMO it’s a one horse race the winner is Daystate. A well respected name on the HFT circuit.

    I own several guns by both manufacturer, unfotunatly I cant coment on the harrier x, but if they are to the normal standard of daystate you would be hard pushed to choose between the s410 and the x.
    If it was me I would buy all 4, one in each caliber and each model.

    The AA s410 is a superb rifle, i know i have one <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> you won't be sorry if you do get one but it won't end there cos you'll soon want something else, not cos the s410 don't do the business, its just that you'll get the bug and want something else to play with thats just how it go's <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    I ran out money for geting harrier x's after geting the mk3's. But yes I do own a pair of mk3's and a pair of s410 carbines.
    I personaly would find it hard to choose, but would recond spending a bit extra and geting the thumbhole option on what ever rifle you choose.

    I had a S410 and Ive handled a Harrier X at a gunshop and I think the S410 is a much better gun IMHO.My advice though is go to a gunshop or a club and have a heft of them both and see which fits you better.

    On saturday I treated myself to a Daystate Harrier X. I love it. its .177 ambi beech. I stuck my Whitetail classic 6.5x20x50pa on there and it looks a picture.

    Definately NO camo tape going near this little puppy <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:--> <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    My choice would be the s410, the Harrier is nice, but I don't like the Gary Cane designed stock, or the Daystate TWANG.
    You can remove the twang with a modification, or you could just buy the Air Arms and save yourself the trouble.
    The best advice as always is try both rifles, and get the one you like best. Good luck with it mate
