I've never been a fan of the air cartridge system. It always seemed too fiddley. I'm not saying that I'm right, just that I know what I like. The reason that I've posted, is not a mindless rant, but a comment on the financial aspects of the ban. For a while I have harboured a secret desire for the Lee Enfield Brocock conversion..not to shoot, but to have. One has appeared today on the for sale section, and before this licensing scheme came into existance I would have bitten his arm off to get it. Now I look at it and think...I can never trade it, Sec 1 cert, and no resale value.........bummer. I think that there will be diehards and those who sell, but in the end everyone will lose out. I wonder how many will be registered, and for the poeple who don't, do you really want an illegal section one firearm (with all the consequences) that just about does the legal limit?. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_frown.gif" alt="Frown" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
