Hello all,
I've read about using lasers mounted on scopes as an aid to rangefinding - I bought a fairly cheap Deben/Hawk unit with 1inch mount. I stuck it on my scope but I didn't quite get the result I thought I would.

Visually I can see that the spot does fall quite a bit lower down on further away objects but with the perspective of further away objects being smaller this doesn't translate into much deviation of the spot in relation to the reticle.

Could someone enlighten me as to how you set up yours and how you use it ?
