Hello my name is Orlando Del Valle, I live in Miami Fla, I have bought many of my rifles from the members of the BBS and a broad in the UK without a glitch, I have dealt with over 20 different sellers and quite a few dealers, quite a few multiple times. ( Many here could vouch for me )
Firstly- I do not want to spoil the atmosphere here (not my intention!) it is a great site, but In May I purchased 4 rifles from a BBS member with paypal. This seller is a big boy and plays in the HFT seen. Over 6-7 months later and many phone calls and ridiculous obstacles, I have 3 ( finally!! ) never got the fourth shipped to me, it was claimed to be broken when it arrived to the seller. I gave this seller another call and it was agreed that he would ship the 3 and send me the left over money for the 4th.
To make things easier I have called and asked the seller to please send the remaining funds to another gentlemen #2 as partial payment for a rifle I bought from him. Seller said sure have him contact me. Well gentlemen #2 kindly called for three day's and finally arranged the posting for the check. I also called to verify with the seller and he said it was sorted. Well over a week has gone by again, no sign's of any payment ( really frustrating ) *Just tried to call again and someone say's he is not available.
My goal is not to cause this gentlemen problems- that is why I have kept his name private, but I have pleaded many times to get this over with, but he just refuses to let go of what is not his. I do not want to argue, I just want what is mine and set closure to the deal and move on. What would you do in my seat?

Name and Shame!
Hopefully the thought of the prolonged deal going 'public' will force his hand into re-making contact and sorting out the situation. If it isn't dealt with soon I would contact one of the site moderators and ask them to vet a post revealing the identity of the person (as a last resort option), so that they would be 'encouraged' to put their side of the story forward (all things then are seen to be fair).

I have dealt with Orlando many times over the past couple of years. He is one of Air-gunning's
true gents and has a wealth of knowledge and a fine collection of air weapons. It is a shame that one of the BBS members has dealt so shabbily with Orlando and it is really this other person's duty to clear this matter up as rapidly as they can.
Dragging this out for such a long time is not big or clever and it gives observers of the BBS a very poor impression of how we treat each other.
Naming and shaming - I am sure Orlando has his reasons for not wishing to reveal who the other party is. I think he is showing a remarkable degree of restraint.

Perhaps as a last resort an e mail to one of the administrators would help prior to the final act of naming and shaming
I hope all is resolved amicably and as you have had extensive dealing with other members it does not reflect to badly on the members of this BBS

I would just like to say that I know Orlando and have 110% trust in him - if he is having a problem it is genuine. Its a shame that he is being treated in this way.

I, personally would not like to cock-up a deal in this manner and IF I did, I would HAVE to accept being named and shamed. Speak to Baz via email. I'm sure he will have read this thread and will wait until approached by yourself before getting involved directly. I'd say you've already got enough support to get the ear of 'firm but fair' Baz. The For Sale section is his baby after all.
The 'name and shame' is leverage that might be better used if negotiation doesn't work. But I'd have to say, it might be in the best interests of all of us, if we knew who you were talking about so we don't get 'caught' either. If you've ordered 4 rifles from Mr X I'm sure we'll all be familiar with his name.
Please make sure you advise Gary_C who is building/running a database on Buyers/Sellers.
