Stealth question

I have recently bought a Stealth (a secondhand one but the top hat has 2 screws and the gun has a metal hammer so it's a recent one I think) and have been tinkering with it to get it right. I have eliminated the trigger creep, and the power is around 20 fpe (no power limit in Belgium). Last night I was at the club and with AA Fields 5.52 I got sub 0.5" groups at 25 m (27.5 yards) and sub 1" groups at 50 m (55 yards) which is better than I expected from a Stealth .

I also made a silencer for it which seems to eliminate the muzzle crack effectively. However, I get a blast of air (and a rather loud crack) out of the breech area. Looking closer to it, I discovered that the o-ring facing the muzzle in the breech bloc (the part with the knob to cock the gun) was not very tight around the barrel, while the o-ring facing the valve is much tighter. I replaced the o-ring with a new one but the problem remained, it seems much too loose to me. So this looks like a possible cause of the air blast. I am not sure what I can do about this, apart looking for a thicker o-ring or ordering a new breech bloc.

But I also noticed that when I put an o-ring under the top hat, the crack at the breech area is less, so I start wondering whether some air is escaping passing the valve stem.

Any suggestions about how to eliminate the air blast at the breech area ?

    TIA,

    Mario

    David,

thanks, but yes I have, it's the Stealth bible .

I have been browsing through most of the Stealt post here as well but haven't found a solution yet.

    Cheers,

I couldn't find the gun . If you look closely, you can find a rangefinder in the picture .
