Advice on values of rare guns sought

Regretfully I've reached the point where I will have to sell on at least
one of two ultra-rare German spring rifles, the Falke 90 and/or
the Walther LG55T with double set (hair) triggers.

It's obviously difficult to put a value on guns that rarely come up for
sale but I'd appreciate any input from experts out there.
If you have a ballpark figure in mind, please give your reasons
(cue the 'it's worth a fiver coz it's crap' jokes ).

Both are complete and working, in original condition, with a few flaws
    but nothing too bad.

I had the figures of £350 plus in mind for the Walther and maybe £400
plus for the Falke but as always I guess their real value is what someone
    will actually pay.

Think those prices are about right. I would think twice about selling the Falke, you might never find another one. Is it .177 as well?

Hiya mate, And yes I see the problem ! With having to put a price on an item ( As you have ) Its difficult, ?? Is it time for an " Auction " type site within the Forum, ?? These guns are very collectible, & we all want the best/fairest price, I think there is room for an auction type area, A fter all we are all adults, How do you price a ( I was going to name some guns ??? ) The only way ( At the moment is to grossly overprice them ) Which puts everyone off ! & ask for offers, Why we state a ( Ballpark figure ) and best offer takes, ??? Or am I out of line ! ,

Thanks Alistair. The Falke is .177 and yes it does take a bit of thought. You're right - it's unlikely another would come up.

It is tricky isn't it buddy? A thread like this one is useful to seek out help on the ballpark price (and maybe even generate some interest ) but it doesn't really tell you what's the most someone out there might pay.

Maybe not, but an "AUCTION" would sort the Wheat from the Chaff ! Cheers,

Tyrolean stock LG55s in good order regularly sell for £250 or more on egun.de, so £350 sounds about right as a UK price.

Impossible to put a price on the Falke, they are so rare. If it were mine I wouldn`t sell.

Thanks. Maybe I should keep the Falke.

I've never once seen a double trigger LG55T for sale on egun.de and I've kept a close look out.

Thanks for this. I'm now planning to hold on to the Falke but I'll keep it in mind.
