Too much oomph in a pro-elite for most pellets under 16 grains.
IF you find one that heavy then you are in luck.
I think it likely that the only wadcutter style pellet that might work is a Crow-Magnum AKA Past Control.
I tried the few I had in my pellet sampler (Meisterkugeln, Beeman HN Match, RWS Hobby) and they all grouped like garbage.
Since I've got some short-range paper punching to do I'd appreciate any suggestions for a wadcutter or semi-wadcutter that puts nice clean closely grouped holes from your Pro Elite.

Well if 16gr is a magic number then crosman premiers must be special - those shoot the sweetest of the bunch. Crow Magnums were a very tight breech fit and I got two distinct POIs at only 10m.
I'm curious about some of the HN pellets - like the Diabolo Field and Target - which have a distinct lip at the head. I imagine that may cut the paper nicely, but I'd rather not buy hundreds of pellets when I know they won't shoot well in 10 shots.

heard they might work with powerful .22 springers.
The JSB heavies - I second the recomendation
