    difference between a mark1 and 2 superten?

    One for the superten pundits:

What are the differences between a mk1 and 2 superten?

    Many thanks for your help.

mk2 has alloy bottle with a flat bottom and a slightly better looking stock, where as the mk1 has a steel bottle with a rounded bottom and the stock is even uglier <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_eek.gif" alt="Eek" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

    So no 'internal' differences then?

I also thought that the regulator was made out of something different and the trigger was changed slightly. This was the inference some of the magazines gave at the time....I am curious aswell

TBMK there are no mechanical differences between the actions of the MK I and MK II S10. The trigger was modified, but that change pre dated the introduction of the MK II. Why not call BSA and ask them directly, they have always been very helpful with technical information when I have spoken to them.

According to BSA the best way to tell is by the serial number,HTH Take care Pete.
