A lot better than a B2 but nothing special IMHO. Now the model 50 was a classic gun.. <img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->
I have one rusty original 35 in bits in the loft. Given to me ages ago. Is it worth me spending some money on it, or is it of the same quality as a B2, i have no idea and know nothing about them. I have just worked out from chambers, spring, trigger pin, piston seal kit, breach seal about £30 +P&P.
If anyone does know about these rifles, i have 3 parts missing compared with the picture from chambers web page, or i could put it together and try it out, breach seal (must have a O ring around some were that will fit), the trigger pin (holds the trigger in place)anyone know the size and what its made of, if so i could possibly get some bar and cut it to length. second is a washer at the rear of the trigger (no idea what it does)is it needed just to try the rifle out if i can get the trigger pin.
All help greatly appreciated, if there are any 35 experts out there that would like to E.mail me PLEASE DO.
Thank you
Phil FH70

I wouldn't claim to be an expert, but I refurbished (dismantle, ****** good clean inside and out, new spring etc and re-lube and complete stock strip and finish) one of these for a friend last year.
Once together it was running very smoothly @11.4ftlb.
Lovely looking gun, well balanced and solidly built. Sorry I can't answer your specific questions but IMHO it is well worth the effort and expense.
Cheers

Mine was the 35E and was very accurate although used.I tried a bog standard grey import which was horrible and need some stripping from new.
Sold my 35E to BAR for £60.Sad but needed to exchange for something else.

Have couple of originals but not this one. I think they are now becoming scarce.If the stock is in good condtion (or can be made as such) it may even be worth getting a re-blue on the gun once you are sure you have all the working parts and gun operates ok? I think you're best bet is to stick with parts from the likes of chambers, Hiller or PJ Knibbs etc. Dont know what the washer behind trigger is for but regarding that trigger pin; I'd bet that it's hardened, and as such you may be better off getting a genuine part rather than simply fitting a small mild steel rod/bar. Sorry cant be more help, though I could if I'd had one meself!
