If you choose not to go FAC and the pistol / rifle is destroyed. Do you get compensation as I did some years ago?

No compensation, reason it has not been restricted and not banned.

Best one was the Home Office , believing that the majority of owners would be trooping down to the Police destruction bins with there thousand £ outfits<img src="http://jsramsbottom.co.uk/bbs/e/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin:-->

I also believe that the majority on unrequired guns will end up in Dustbins instead of the hoped for Police station Collection Bins.

I am aware that it has increased a lot more people into using them.
