Here are some pistols I am currently looking for:

Any Hy-Score pistol in rough but working nick
American Hy-Score Sportster
Rutten Winstar HS550 Pistol
Swedish 'Excellent' Pistol

If anyone has one or more of these they want to sell, or knows of any, or has any leads or info, I would be very grateful! It doesn't matter if the pistol is rough, or even has some bits missing, as long as with some work and fettling it can be got back into shooting condition.

Got a mint Cougar boxed with bits and the 1947 Hyscore boxed with bits so if you think pics etc may help let me know. Currently chasing a Winstar, will keep you informed but not hopefull and what does an Excellent look like?
(bits = extras and some paperwork).

Hi, if you are still looking for an american manufacture hyscore, i was in blackpool air rifles today and they have one in very good condition, i think it was around the £150.00 pound mark.

allsports gloucester had american hyscore engaved action very tidy, price???

Thanks guys, it's specifically the 'Sportster' version I'm after, this is a bit like the British-made Phoenix Arms/Hyscore Sporter, but a bit shorter, with the sportster the barrels are knurled and screwed in by hand rather than by use of a tool.

Actually, I might be interested in an 801 'Target' model but only if it's rough and cheap... Can't run to £150 for what will be a project gun!

if youre looking for hy score pistols try all sports of Gloucester on 01452-522756. They have found me 2 last 3 years, an american made single shot and one of the latter british built verson. hope this of use as they are very well built and quite powerful for size . Tell them Dave Payne asked you to call ask for John Dempster, Ron Medows Or Martin who dose most of the repairs. Excellent gun shop.

rob, protek havea british hyscore pistol at £ 96 on there sight. good companey to dell with just picked up an Hamerli Master and BSF 20 pistol from them in top mit condition. Hope this of use, take care Fat Man.
