1930s Bsa Breakdown .177 Rifle For Sale.

*** Withdrawn From Sale -- See Post Six Below ***

Due to my recent purchase (see link here http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=194226 ), I've ended up with two 1930s BSA Breakdown .177 rifles so am offering the spare for sale here. This isn't the one from the collection though, as that one needs a little work that I will administer over the next few months. This is the Breakdown I bought from BBS good Guy kevin.ronnie early last month. Although the bluing has turned brown on this rifle (as happens), it is in exceptionally good condition for a 70 year old rifle, complete with the butt plug which usually get lost, and it still shoots very sweetly too . I can do photos, but for the same reason as detailed in the Ps. on the link above they are virtually pointless. I will stake my BBS reputation on it that this rifle is exactly as described though. All I am going to ask for a quickish sale is a tenner less than I paid in April: £90 plus post (sorry, no offers considered). If interested please p-m me and/or post here only as I seldom visit my e-addy unprompted. ATB: Gareth.

Time for a bump back ttt for this BSA Breakdown . Off line now until Sunday afternoon, so any help bumping this back to the top if it reaches page two will be greatly appreciated. First person to post below that they will have it gets it over and above any p-ms and/or e-mails. Have also pasted a couple of links to a BSA Breakdown below courtesy of Good Guy Roger (aka serowman), so that those who don't know what one looks like can find out. ATB : Gareth W-B.

Hi Peter, yes, it is the one you bought off Roger. Copied and posted the pictures over to act as a visual representation of a Breakdown for the folk who weren't sure what one looks like (although mine is in much better condition ). Had to do this, as still unable to get a good photo of mine on it's own for good guy Garvin to hoast for me (continual camera problems). At the moment I only have two very average photos of said Breakdown to send that were taken with it side by side with my Mercury-S. Potential buyers who want copies of these photos however, can get them via a reply e-mail attachment to a request e-mail sent to charlie-woolven@fsmail.net . Meanwhile its time for a fresh bump back to the top for the start of a new week . ATB: Gareth W-B.

The BSA Breakdown as advertised here withdrawn from sale for very good reason. Was selling it because the other Breakdown which has come into my possession (as high-lighted above) was -- or so I thought -- void of value this side of its renovation. Not so in the eyes of BBS visitor Jamie however, who seeing my e-addy in the above post has e-mailed me an offer for said doer-upper that I have accepted. Not wanting to be without a Breakdown in my collection therefore, am now keeping the one as originally advertised here for myself, and I apologise to anyone this may inconvenience (but you should’ve spoken up earlier ). ATB: Gareth W-B.
