    Yes, I think you might be right about the checkering ruling out the Excel.

    It was more of a BSA Meteor level gun than a deluxe model.

    Correct Tom, as a former Falcon owner i can say the wood on the 'Un-named' gun is far too good for it to be a Falcon.
