Yep, I know they breed all year round when conditions are right, but this is the time of year when the females come into my garden and start digging nesting burrows. The boss is torn between letting me shoot them, cos they're digging up all her garden, and attacks of 'oh but they look so happy!' fluffy bunny syndrome. I don't mind leaving them alone for a while, there are plenty more in the fields, and if they nest I'll have a garen full of nice tasty baby bunnies before long, but I wondered, how many of you give them a rest this time of year, to maximise the number of targets you'll have later on? I know it's open season all year round, but I've seen a few sources which recommend giving them a rest while they're doing what rabbits do best, and I'd be interested to know if anyone does this?
