whars the value hw77 and original 45.20cal?

hi guys
can somebody give me a rough idea of what an original 45.20 cal is worth excellent condition,also weihrauck hw 77 [long barrell] 177. excellent condition few very minor marks on stock,also original mod 5 airpistol exceptional condition 177 cal ..might be parting with some of these shortly

hi i would of thought for the original 45 in good condition around the £120 mark and about the same for the hw 77 hope this helps reguards stuart

If the gun is as factory intended with original and in .177.

Average Cond £120-£140
Good Condition £140 - £160

Early models are more sought after than newer models.

i bought one a couple of weeks ago that needed a cocking shoe (£5.80 from chambers guns), paid £35posted.

i don't think it's too far out, don't know about the weihrauch tho'
or the mod 5 pistola.

Reading the above advert it states that it was a .22 version. The .20 version isn't as common and R. Beeman in The Blue Book Of Airguns writes, quote:
' add 25% for the .20 version'. So, I agree with you Pat the price seems a little anorexic.

There is a mint .22 45 being advertised at present at £185. There was a batch of .20 at the end of production and at the time they had to be discounted to sell. Now, some think .20 adds value, some don't.

HW77's depend on condition and how good the wood looks as they have been in production for so long. Some moderators are very nice quality and add value, some don't. Very early ones with no safety ratchet should be more collectable than they are but prices seem to have frozen.

Both guns are great for their time and should be great value at under £200. If you want to shift them then you may have to go very low £120-£160. Add ons, like a decent period scope, only add £40 or so. Don't go and buy a modern scope because you think a combo will help sell it as a cheap modern scope adds no value at all. Most collectors already have good examples.

Price is critical and a tenner can mean the difference between no sale and a deluge of offers.
