    Who would you recommed for re-blueing work please.

    always have to pay more for the best, i still drool over the blueing or should that be blacking on the v-mach 97 in febuarys airgunner

    Never Used V Mach but I'm sure they will do a good job. Colin has done a couple of reblues for me and I was more than satisfied, reasonable price too.

    col@mag as done some work for me, he re-blued my s/s shotgun and did a great job at the right price

    Just out of interest, what kind of price are you looking at for an average break-barrel re-blueing?

    Dunno about re-blue, but Colin charged me less than £50 for chroming a Falcon action. I stripped it, but he did all the polishing etc. Can't fault him, everything else I'm doing will go his way.

    Colin for me.
    Steve Popes work is great but it is alot more and the time scale is in months and not weeks like Colin. You pay your money you take your choice.

    Roughly 60ish quid depending on how much time the prep work takes him, bluing doesn't hide anything so every little pit/depression has to be polished out and the surface blended in.
    Well worth it for a gun that looks most times better than new.
