i remember asking this a while back...i think there's a fair mix of views.
ive only ever used my 3 sear one, and with a PD trigger, its good enough for me

Two sear
Three sear
Personally, I feel the 2 sear trigger has a much better feel to it. I could always feel the two stages perfectly, the 3 sear seems almost, woolly in comparison.
What about you lot?

I have used both, the 3 sear seemed to take a while to get used to, but now I have no preference
I can miss just as easily with both of them.
The CD trigger is the Rekord clone fitted to the TX200 and ProSport.
When the 2 sear trigger for the S300/400 came out it was improved by an add on 3 sear conversion by Nick Jenkinson. This made the transition from first stage to second stage even crisper, and was made standard on all S400s a couple of years ago. Its much better than the old 2 stage trigger.

Used both, and love 'em both but I've got the 2 sear, my son Ru has the 3. At first I thought Ru's was better, then I polished the sears on the 2...maybe I'm just used to it but I wouldn't swap the 2 for the 3 now.

For me the answer has to be the 2 sear all day long

Mine is a two sear but has a non standard 3rd sear fitted. I would love to know who made it. Just curious like. The third sear is a very simple wedge of steel much thicker than the AA sears it needs no spacers.
To answer the question. I used to love the two sear unit. It was crisp when set up correctly (something AA seem incapable of) and easy to tune into a near match grade trigger. Not sure about my 3 sear job yet but I havent had time to fiddle with it properly yet
Joe,
From the description you give, yours sounds like one of Nick Jenkinson's original hand made three sear conversions.
I would say Nick'd hand mades were a touch better than the factory versions, but as with the two sear models spend some time on the setting up and they are very good indeed.
