Hi does anybody know where I can get spares for these. I am after a new mainspring and piston seal.
If this is not possible does anyone know the dimensions of the piston seal (I'l have a go at making my own)
    Thanks

You can buy new standard springs from Chambers. The original piston seal is leather, you can make your own one if you follow the instructions on the Advice forum. Otherwise T.R.Robb can sell you a PTFE one for about £10. Maccari in the US can sell you a good quality spring for about £15 but it will need spacing with washers to adjust power. Manchester Air Guns have a few small spares for them as well, like the breech seal, but you could probably make that of leather too, or substitute an 'O' ring as the breech face is slanted.

Nothing more to add to HSINGs comprehensive reply .

I recently made a breech seal quite easily for one of my 70's after fighting and loosing the battle to get a decent fit out of a new leather seal. Ten minutes with a Stanley knife and a couple of suitable 'O' rings had it sorted and, while not standard, it was better than new.
