Seems like you might in fact have an Anschutz 275 ..... same as the 49A but better built and more valuable. Good result

Any markings on top of the action? Haenels are clearly marked either Haenel or Suhl with the figure of a man ....
No markings on the action on the barrel only.

Anschutz 275. Dennis Hiller writes: 'Date. From the early 1950s to late 1970s, but were rarely advertised and sold in small numbers only.
Stamped on the barrel Cal 4.40 - Nr9 and above that ANSCHUTZ ERZEUGNIS MODEL 275. '

    Dr R. Beeman (2005) values one in 100% condition @ $425. A 90% @ $250 and a 60% @ $145.

It is obviously an Anschütz 275 (or the former 276) - you can see w/o any doubt it at the metal-parts aroun the magazine-slot.
Don´t care about the "values" in the BlueBook. As far as I know the model 275 is still in production and you have to pay some hundert Euro for e new specimen. In a well used but good condition (and because they are sold nearly to 100% to gallerys all of them are well-used) the "normal" price is between 100 and 150 Euro.

    Greetings, Dr.K.

I bought a very good condition example a while back for £150 which I thought was fair.

The Anshutz 275 was a later copy of the Schmeisser Model 33, which originally was a bolt action military trainer designed by Hugo Schmeisser. Schmeisser is best known for designing the German MP 38 Machine Gun, and worked for haenel before WW11, identical rifles also were made by Haenel including their famous Sport Modell 33 and Junior 33.
They are commonly encountered in their many forms in Germany and are commonly known as Suhl Repeaters.

Anschutz 275 Air Rifles are still produced today in small quantities but rarely encountered today in the UK. They are at best short range target rifles of very limited power. The current 275 gives a muzzle velocity of 110m/s.

    No longer in production

According to to the official importer FD of London ,they stop making them 6 months ago . New the 275 was around £600 ( due to the exchange etc ) .
To find out the exact age you have to submit a request to Anschuetz , which will cost 50 euros.
