I was 14 when I got my first farm to shoot on- I just put on my best, 'respectable' county clothes and went along and knocked on the door. Create a good impression of yourself, make yourself look smart and be polite. First impressions count a great deal.

I would just go down and have a friendly chat with them. Luckily my dad works where i shoot so it was easy for me.
