I have no idea of the 'going rate' for these scopes. I do know I would happily pay £55 posted RMSD for the 3-9x40WA scope.
So I'd say that one has a minimum value of at least £55 posted.
Hi Guys,
I have 2 Optima scopes in very good condition, perfect clear optics - no scratching on the lens coatings and a tiny scratch on the eyebell on one of them.
One is the Optima 3-9x40 Wide Angle, gloss black and with the wide angle mask inside.
The other is the Optima 3-9x45 Moonlighter, in satin black.
Both made in Japan and were the 'Mutts Nuts' back in 83 when I bought mine. Both also have BDC top turrets.
I also have the original mounts, 1 set is low the other medium.
Any idea what they should sell for please? I have an offer at the moment but I need to be sure of the real value, for both parties.

Optima 3-9x45 Moonlighter The scratch has been highlighted by flash and photo enhancement, you can't see it in normal light indoors, but it's best to show the only fault honestly.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
I recently sold a very tidy Tasco 2-7x32 pre AG, dating from the early '80s for £50 so £55 for a similar aged/quality Optima (Hakko?) with mounts sounds a fair price to me.
