    Charging Adaptor!

Where can I buy a thred adaptor for changing the Normal Stealth Adaptor to a Pump hose? If you know what I mean.

    Cheers

When you get it, put plenty of loctite on the thread, or air will piss out, and that really pissed me off!

What was the prb with the gun btw?

Must have been due to miss-aligned trigger sears etc. The safety return spring was also missing. It must have been knocked in the post. The trigger was rock hard but now it releases smoothly. Thing is - the amount of time I was on fiddling with it. I can now remove the trigger unit with my eyes closed. No halm done either...

Would the lock tight also be suitable on the tophat to reduce movement?

I wouldnt recomend applying it here, you'll never be able to move it if you need to, it could also clog up the valve...

There's a grub screw to stop movement.

Use Araldite on the tophat. Get it set and then measure the gap with a feeler gauge, remove and then apply the glue. If you need to adjust it in the future, simply apply a little heat with a blow torch.
BTW, if the apadtor leaks don't use loctite for sealing the threads. All you need on a BS adaptor is a dowty washer.

Surly if the tophat is set at 12ftlb which would only be a few turns up the stem. It would never get into the valve. I am no expert just going on what I have heard on websites etc.... as the grub screw isn't best for consistency...

Theres nothing to a stealth, how am I clueless?

    OK,

loctite + tophat = very strong bond

To release the bond, a blow torch will have to be used.

    250 degrees C + buddy bottle @ 200bar = bang

    umkay?

    1) Your clueless because no one in their right mind would apply Loctite as a 200bar sealant. THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG BEING COMPLETELY UNSAFE AND SHOULD BE IGNORED!!

    2) Your recommended use of Loctite shows your incompetence.

    3) Your other post asking for Stealth mod advice proves the above.

BTW, blow torches operate at around 2200 degrees Celsius not the 250 you quoted.

Not getting into a slanging match, but you're talking out of your anus. Theres nothing wrong with using loctite on the charging adapter not the actual gun. Its the thread of the adapter that holds the bottle in place, the glue simply seals it.
I started a thread to ask where to get the parts not how to fit them.
Why do the odd stupid people latch onto me?!

    Go away!

The flame may be 2200 degrees C, but the metal being heated would reach around 200+.

    Stupid man.

BTW - Its you that reacomended heating the top hat to melt the glue. I'd say any sort of heat on a compressed gas is certainly a disaster in the making.

Heat + gas = gas expanding = more pressure = bang = air turning red
