    Piston Polishing

    I am going to install a stage 1 into a HW8O.
What is the best method of polishing the piston?.

Also, whats the best lubricant to use on the sides of the piston?

I think you might find the info when doing a search, but:
isn't a Venom piston already polished?
    if not:
polish following the stroke of the piston
some say, don't remove all the lines on it, those hold the lubricant very well
    lube SPARINGLY with moly
NOT in front of the piston!

Rogo, I use a polishing mop that I got from Halfords or B&Q years ago. It's got a centre hole which I then fitted a threaded bolt and two washers/nut onto. This then fits conveniently into your household B&D drill etc. I use Solvol Autosol from Halfords for polishing. As said above-polish with piston stroke, not against it, but no need to take things too far. Hope that helps. Regards Dave.
