    chairgun help. please

    firstly a hello to everyone.
    can some determine where the measurments for scope height come from in the variable data table i.e is it measured from the lip of the objective lens to the rifle. sorry if no one can understand my explination.

    The measurement is from the centre of the bore of the barrel to the centre of the scope.

    The easiest way to find the centre of the scope is where the two halfs of the mounts come together then measure from there to the centre of the barrel

    Yep... if the rifle has an open breech, measure from the centre to the bottom of the scope tube, and add 12.5 mm for a 1 in tube, or 15 mm for a 30mm tube.

    Do not normaly clamp my mounts to the barrel, usualy clamp them to the Dovetails on the block.
