    Milbro Cougar Parts

    Hi guys.

This 'may' test the wealth of knowledge amongst you.

Does anyone know where to obtain bits for a Milbro Cougar pistol?

I need a barrel seal. I also would like to replace the plastic handle & side pieces as they have broken around the screw holes (snowballs chance in hell i guess).

I have looked at the Chambers site & they don't list these parts. I presume that a seal from another pistol/rifle may fit, but i wouldn't know where to start.

All help & advice greatly appreciated...

    Cheers,

    Shad

I can't say for sure but the breech seal looks as though a BSA Scorpion/Meteor/Supersport seal might fit... I've got a cougar to do up and will give it a try when I get time and let you know, but it won't be for weeks yet unfortunately...

I'm looking for a Cougar rearsight too...

Rob M. I take my hat off to you sir! Meteor Breech Seal is a perfect fit & works superbly.

I'm just annoyed at myself for asking the question, when the answer was sat in the toolbox next to the pistol!

On a positive, i've learnt something!

    Cheers,

I'm glad to have helped out! That's good to know for when I get around to refurbishing my own Cougar, so thanks for letting us know.

    Breech seals

No promises but I recently (late one night) bought a whole load of seals (breach and cylider) from fleabey, if you want to send me the old one I will check it against what I have got . . . have offered this before on here with no response, only way I can see as none of the pile I have are labeled.

(Must sort 'em out, seen Scorpion and Webley seals and something that looks like a Cougar - having examined my one).
