Does anyone know what the cheapest one is?
seen some FX ones in the esteemed magazines for £95 or so - you see them for sale on here quite often as well, plus on evilbay as well..
cheers

J.S.R are doing them for £95.
Far too many rifles & pistols to mention here.
Just to throw something else in, my 12l bottle cost me pennies under 98 squid. Bought the bottle for £10 from a scuba club it was due its first test. The test was £35, valve and hose £50 filling £2.50.
Much easier than a pump for 4 thirsty guns. Try buttering up a local scuba club.

The Fx pump is the cheapest on the market from what I've seen and JSR do the best price. However if you can afford a few extra quid, and don't already have one, get a bottle.

Im new to all this like
What do you mean get a bottle? i thought you'd have to get it filled up from a scuba place anyways, and tbh i want to be able to charge my own gun.
What other methods are there for charging a PCP? any other info on PCP rifles would be great to, as im new to all this.

You can buy a divers bottle, from which you can fill your gun 'X' number of times, depending on the size and pressure of the bottle. Then, when you need to, you take the bottle to your nearest dive shop / centre and get it filled. A 7 litre, 300 bar bottle will usually cost around the same, perhaps slightly more as a Hills pump with drypac filter. The cost of filling varies from place to lace, but usually around £3.
If you want a bottle cheaper, they do occasionally come up for sale here second hand.
Oh waily waily waily!
But can you use a pump to fill the rifle directly?
I dont really know what you get with a PCP rifle, is it like a small bottle that fits onto the rifle?

Darth,
I have seen a few of your posts today. May I suggest you find a local club and take the time to pop down and chat and possibly shoot some guns. We don't bite, and all the folk I have met at clubs have been helpful and constructive. It is the way of our sport in all disciplnes and long may it last.
Take care, Voldy

You can use the pump to fill a rifle directly yes. Some will be harder to fill than others, as some PCP's such as the AAS410 have cylinders to store the air and some, such as the BSA Super 10, have Buddy Bottles which tends to hold more air and provide more shots but also means harder work filling them with a pump.
Basically, if you live near a dive centre, you might as well get a bottle. If not, then a pump will do the job as long as you're prepared to put the effort in.
Oh waily waily waily!

Get yourself along to the Woodview club near Trimdon. Lots of guys there to help and advise. Are you near A19 or further in towards Pennines? The range is on a minor C road between the A689 and the A179/B1280 interchanges. From the south heading north on A19 it is first turn on the left after the A689. If coming from the North heading south it is the first turnoff on the right after the A179/B1280 interchange (second road to Elwick on left is opposite the road you want - signposted Trimdon. A mile down that Trimdon Road look out for first clump of building on the left. Take second gate (black) into Woodview farm. OK
