I dont know about the Trafalgar arms fair but i went to a vintage and classic arms fair at Bisley a few years ago, i spent hours drooling at all the lovely muzzleloaders, rifles and yes there were air guns too.
Do not go unless you have a large quantity of the folding stuff, if like me you are potless dont go because you will want to weep at all the lost bargains!
I vowed to return another day with a large wad of dosh, as yet i havent made it!

Has anyone been to the trafalgar fair? I'm fancying a drive down to it, bear in mind it's about a 4 hour drive for me!!!!! Is the classic arms fair better? Advice please.

I'm interested in airguns, obsolete and very old vintage BP and muzzle loading guns.

Well worth going, i go every year. Loads classic airguns and even more vintage firearms.
Some of the rifle ranges will be open as well,so lots more to see and do even for the family as there are two resturants and a museum [dont tell em its full of guns though!]

    Bisley

Went to the Arms Fair, very good with a resonable number of airguns for sale, all a bit pricey though. One guy had a Webley MK1 rifle and a BSA Military Pattern for sale and a Mk2 Target Pistol, plus lots of BSA Underlevers etc. Saw several MK2 Airsporters, numerous Webley pistols (many boxed), a boxed Scorpion, A Walther LP3 Match and an Original 6M. I'd certainly go again.

What about the Antique and Classic arms fair next Sunday? Is it mainly powder guns or are there airgun stalls too?
