Another Old Git.
I have an MFR which has a bull barrel and it works by having two deflectors which redirect the air back down the inside of the outer barrel. It is very affective.
I would say better than a single moderator.
Yes they work far better than your standard end of barrel silencer.
I have a BSA SuperTen doing 22flb (FAC) and its quiter than most sub 12flb rifles.
The bigger the volume the silencer the more affective it becomes, a bull barrel silencer will also help to balance certain guns, its worked wonders on my SuperTen.
Yes, My MFR is very quiet, especially compared to some other pre-charge rifles.
I'm just getting a 'bull barrel' or barrel shroud silencer made up for my 26" Stealth. Should be ready early next week.
Thanks guys that has more than answered my questions.
Regards
alec
